Florals are everywhere and I love them!
The question always is, how to wear them and not look frumpy, or like your trying to recapture your childhood days. For a lunch date with the ladies, I was determined to step just slightly out of my comfort zone and give the floral look a try.
First I found these amazing floral pants from H&M –
The black background made them a more comfortable choice for me and while the flower print makes them an easy spring and summer wear, I can also see them moving into fall with a big black sweater.
They have the straight leg, ankle length silhouette that I find flattering on my plus size shape. Made with a cotton blend stretchy material, I felt like I hit the jackpot.
These pants fit fabulous and are stretchy and comfortable to wear without feeling too polyestery. I don’t think polyestery is a real word, but I’m sure you know what I mean!
Because the weather is always warm here in Socal, I paired these fabulous print pants with a black pinched front t-shirt also from H&M.
It is designed to be off-the-shoulder but I kept it just up over the shoulder so it created a nice open look.

Slip on shoes are everywhere this season.
These black leather slip ons from Aerosoles keep the trend comfortable and walkable.
I picked up the mid heel mules in all black, but they also come with a cool cork look heel, wedge heel or even an almost flat version.
