About

Welcome to What’s Next for Lori!

My name is Lori, and I’m 50+, widow, breast cancer survivor, and empty nester.  With my two daughters off to university in Europe, I spend time in my usual Southern California and in Europe near my daughters.  Follow me as I explore this exciting next chapter in my life.

Not long out of chemo for breast cancer, I’m finally getting some hair back and am building a new and healthier lifestyle.  I’m making simples changes and slowly shifting to a healthier mindset.

I believe that fashion is empowering and style is not about age or size, it’s about confidence!  Even bald, wrapped in bandages from surgery, I would throw on a flowy black dress with a fabulous headscarf and meet with girlfriends for a chat at the local coffee shop.

I want to encourage women to be proud of the bumps in the road that come with age, the wrinkles, stretch marks and scars all make you unique and gorgeous in your own way.  I call this Grown-Up Fabulous!

I’m looking forward to sharing with you my passion for what’s next, a healthy, happy and stylish fifty and beyond!

Love,
